About the Artist

Ana Zamora, Salvadoran artist born in en 1961.

​

She studied design and painting in Barcelona, Special Education at a university in El Salvador, was a student of several famous Salvadoran artists and studied painting at San Vincents Academy in Barcelona.

 

She has participated in individual and collective exhibits in Boston and Miami in the United States, in Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, and in Central America in: El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panamá.

​

At the II Paiz Bienal in El Salvador, she won the Bronze Gylph Award, and at the Club from Spain in El Salvador the Santiago Apóstol award. She has had honorable mentions at the Image Gallery in Panama and at the Marte Museum in El Salvador. She has participated in the auctions of the Museo de Marte in El Salvador and Juanio in Guatemala.

 

Currently her works are shown in Galería Imagen in Panama and Galería Clarinero online.
